P. Jason Collins
P. Jason Collins, is an attorney and CPA who handles a variety of legal and consulting matters for family offices, entrepreneurs, non-profits, and corporate boards, including transaction analysis, litigation, dispute resolution, and financial investigations. Jason helped start and manage Reid Collins & Tsai LLP, which grew to become a highly successful and nationally prominent commercial litigation and trial firm. Jason retired from the firm in 2021 to focus on launching and managing a family office and to take on select advisory and consulting projects. Jason has experience with a wide range of financial litigation and transaction matters with a special emphasis on financial fraud cases, board investigations, business acquisitions, and cross-border financial litigation.
Jason was selected as one of Lawdragon's 500 Leading Lawyers in America each year from 2017-2021. He has also been named a Texas Super Lawyer, Benchmark Litigation Star, and listed as a top commercial litigator in Best Lawyers in America.
Prior to co-founding Reid Collins & Tsai LLP, Jason was a partner at the trial law firm Diamond McCarthy LLP and a structured finance auditor and mergers and acquisitions specialist at Arthur Andersen LLP, where he examined and consulted on sophisticated financial transactions.
Jason is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of New York. Jason received his J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif upon graduation. Apart from his legal education, Jason received his M.S. in Finance and B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas A&M University, graduating summa cum laude, finishing as the top student in his class, and serving as a Mays Business School Fellow.
